7. When machining and cutting, the tool should be withdrawn when stopping. For cutting long shafts, a center frame must be used to prevent the workpiece from bending and deforming and hurting people; the length of the bar that extends into the head of the bed does not exceed the vertical shaft of the head of the bed, and it is processed slowly. Pay attention to protection when extending.

8. When the lathe is cutting at high speed, there should be a protective cover, and the workpiece and tools should be fixed firmly. When the iron filings are severely splashed, a baffle should be installed around the lathe to isolate it from the operation area.

9. When the lathe is running, the operator cannot leave the machine tool. If the lathe is running abnormally, stop it immediately and ask a maintenance worker to check and repair it. 10. When working, you must stand sideways in the operating position, and it is forbidden to face the rotating workpiece.

11. At the end of the work, cut off the power or main power of the lathe, withdraw the tool and workpiece from the working position, clean and place the tools, clamps, and measuring tools used, and clean the lathe.

12. Each lathe should be equipped with local lighting, and the lighting on the machine tool should use a safe voltage (below 36V)
