Safety procedures for horizontal lathes

(1) Before driving, check whether the various parts of the lathe are in good condition, and whether the position of each transmission handle and shifting handle is correct, so as to prevent damage to the machine tool due to sudden impact when driving. After starting, the spindle should be idling at low speed for 1-2 minutes. Lubricating oil is distributed wherever it is needed (more important in winter) and can only be operated after the lathe is operating normally.

(2) When the spindle needs to shift gear during work, it must stop and then shift gear.

(3) Work clothes should be worn during work, and lesbians should wear work hats.

(4) Do not wear rings or other hand accessories when working. Do not wear gloves while working.

(5) When working, the head should not be too close to the workpiece, and the protective mirror must be worn when cutting at high speed.

(6) Do not brake the rotating chuck with your hand. Use special hooks to remove chips and do not remove them directly by hand.

(7) When the lathe is rotated, the workpiece is not allowed to be measured, and the surface of the workpiece is not allowed to be touched by hand.

(8) After the workpiece is clamped, remove the chuck wrench and use the material frame baffle when the bar material extends beyond the rear end of the spindle.

(9) After the end of each work shift, the total power of the machine should be turned off.
