Operation process of vertical lathe

1. The rough surface of the workpiece is not allowed to be directly placed on the worktable, but supported by pad iron or screw top; it is strictly prohibited to use the worktable for other operations, such as correcting the workpiece with hammering, welding the workpiece, etc.

2. When aligning the workpiece, you can only jog the worktable to rotate at low speed, not at high speed.

3. When starting and stopping the worktable, the starting and stopping handlebars of the worktable can only be pulled by hand, and pedals are strictly prohibited.

4. When the worktable rotates, it is not allowed to do the lifting of the beam and the rapid movement of the tool rest.

5. When moving the beam, the clamping device must be loosened first, and the clamping device should be clamped immediately after moving. Each time the crossbeam is lowered, it should be raised a little to eliminate the clearance of screw and nut.

6. It is not allowed to carry out gravity cutting when the ram of vertical straight tool rest and side tool rest extends very long; when using vertical tool rest for machining, especially for gravity cutting, the pillars should be lowered as close to the working position as possible.

7. In intermittent cutting, the feed and the speed of the table should be reduced.

8. When changing speed, the control lever must be pushed to the specified position. If the gear is not meshed well, it should be adjusted by micro motion after working, and forced operation is not allowed
