The air hammer is mainly composed of frame, transmission mechanism, compression cylinder and working cylinder, compression piston, falling part, air distribution mechanism and anvil.
frame
The frame is the main body of the air hammer. The frame is equipped with motor, transmission device, working mechanism and control mechanism. These mechanisms are tightly combined into a whole on the frame.
Transmission mechanism
Transmission mechanism includes reducer, crankshaft and connecting rod system. It transforms the rotary motion of the motor into the up and down reciprocating motion of the compression piston.
Compression cylinder and working cylinder
The upper and lower parts of the compression cylinder and the working cylinder are communicated with the upper and lower rotary valves, and the upper and lower movements of the compression piston generate the compressed air to drive the working piston to move up and down.
Falling part
The falling part is composed of working piston, hammer rod and anvil. The hammer rod and working piston are a whole. In order to make their weight meet the technical specifications, they can be made into hollow parts. The connection between hammer rod and hammer head is made of dovetail groove and wedge iron.
Valve train
The air distribution mechanism is composed of the upper valve in the upper airway, the lower valve in the lower airway, the operating handle or the foot lever, which controls various actions through the air distribution mechanism.
Anvil
Anvil pad and lower anvil are installed on the anvil base. In order to meet the stability of forging, the quality requirement of anvil base is 12-15 times of the quality of the falling part. It is installed on the basis of solid reinforced cement, with pad wood in between, which can eliminate the vibration produced by hammering.
